Insurance to cover 80% cancer treatment
I don't need to tell you how expensive cancer treatment is. Many people have to loose their lives due to insufficient funds. In the light of this fact a step taken by Korean Government is worth loads of praise.
In it's effort to reduce patients' financial burden and reduce the number of cancer deaths, the government of Korea has approved plans for the national health insurance to cover up to 80% of medical costs arising from various cancer treatments by 2015.
Doesn't it sound great? At least people will not have to die due to insufficiency of money. What say?
